Commissioned by Education & We take care of the planning and coordination of the TU Delft invigilators pool for student affairs (O&S).
For Education & We take care of the planning and coordination of the TU Delft invigilators pool for student affairs. A group of more than 100 enthusiastic invigilators supports students and teachers during official exams. FlexDelft takes care of the recruitment, selection, training, planning and payment of this group.
An invigilator is responsible for the smooth running of an exam by:
- provide a peaceful environment
- answer questions from students and teachers
- to carry out checks in accordance with examination policy
- the prevention and identification of suspicion of fraud
Invigilators are recruited and selected by FlexDelft and are employed by FlexDelft. The rules and guidelines for surveillance have been drawn up by TU Delft. The invigilators work according to these rules. In the event of changes to this, the invigilators are informed by FlexDelft and, where necessary, retrained through workshops. A new invigilator is further & ldquo; trained & rdquo; by an experienced security guard. After a working week, invigilators are paid by FlexDelft.
FlexDelft receives the schedule from O & amp; S approximately 2 weeks before an exam takes place. FlexDelft will set to work on the basis of this list. FlexDelft automatically schedules invigilators for exams with 30 or more participants. The responsible teacher will receive an email about this. If fewer than 30 participants are present, in principle no invigilator will be scheduled. The teacher will also be informed about this by e-mail. This e-mail describes what a teacher can do to still deploy an invigilator.

At the moment there is no need to expand the current security pool, but if you are interested in becoming a security guard, you can always send an email so that we can contact you when necessary. Send a resume and motivation to surveillanten@tudelft.nl.
